Introduction to Handgun Safety

Utilizing the National Rifle Associates First Steps Pistol training curriculum, Courthouse Creek Associates, LLC NRA certified trainers lead students through a class that will:

Explain the parts and function of auto-loading pistols and revolvers.

Teach the proper safe handling procedures for handguns.

Teach the proper loading, unloading, storage and cleaning procedures for a handgun.

Teach proper shooting technique for a handgun.

Students will live-fire a handgun using special training ammunition to ensure learning of handgun firing skills.

This is a single, 4 hour course – that will be held on May 27th  from 5 PM to 9 PM.

Minimum class size is 4.

Maximum class size is 8.

Cost of the class is $75.00 which includes book, handouts, 20 rounds of training ammunition and certificate of completion.  Firearms for class are provided.

The class will be held in the Gander Mountain Lodge.
