    I was a little wary to use this product on my custom boat cover... but after inquiring how much it was to replace my 16 year old boat cover or even re-stitch the cover, I took a chance. It actually worked, and just in time for the two foot snow storm expected in Denver this May. The tape is holding my cover together even in the ice and snow. Initially I thought the amount of tape in the roll wasn't so great, until I compared it with what is being sold locally... which are just "patches" of tape and not a complete roll... and therefore this product not only performed as stated, but the amount of tape is generous when compared to competitors.

    My Subrella shredded along the grain as I was snapping it in place. I had about a 12 inch long, 3 inch wide area to cover with the tape. I tried with just one piece, but the edges wouldn't adhere to the material. I had to apply several overlapping layers (as if I was spreading spackle) to feel comfortable the tape would hold. It's been a few weeks, and so far so good. Just not sure how long it will last before more tape will need to be applied.

        Used this to repair a large rip in a boat cover that was wind damaged. Laid cover out flat and applied tape and then rolled it with a roller. reinforced with a strip of duct tape. It has held up for several months in rain and wind.

                  Directions inside the box were different than the outside. I bought it for ease of use but on the inside of package it said to use isopropryol alcohol to clean area first. I didnt use it and it appeared to work fine but in some areas the adhesive did not stick as well as others
