Comments about Avery Floating Decoy Bag XL, 36 Decoys:
Love the look and feel of the bag. I dont need the straps since I only use the bag to hold the dekes in my boat but if you are carrying them all the straps mite not hold up over time. Overall I love the quality of the bag, ease of use and the camo pattern.

Comments about Avery Floating Decoy Bag XL, 36 Decoys:
Works great after I learned to let it drain to the bottom. If not it holds water as you exit lake. Got the larger which works nice because I can load it with my coat, blind bag, wing decoy, and even pack the game in it upon exiting the hunt. overall I think it will serve me well over several years of hunting.

Comments about Avery Floating Decoy Bag XL, 36 Decoys:
This is by far the best decoy bag I've owned. I've had mine 6 years now. I do a lot of hunting a couple miles back in and I ride a mtn bike to get to the spots I hunt. This bag fits me perfect. It's comfortable, holds plenty of decoys and fits me very well. I use the regular size and wouldn't recommend the XL size if you have to transport decoys a long way. Too big and loose. The one weakness of this decoy bag is the chest buckle. I don't use it a lot, but I'm sure it would break if I put a lot of stress on it. I've seen others mention the same thing. But, the hip buckle seems to be fine and the hip support straps feel real good when worn. A must have if you walk/ride/etc. into hard to get into hunt spots.

Comments about Avery Floating Decoy Bag XL, 36 Decoys:
First impressions on this bag, well made look good. After moderate use, one season transporting duck decoys (about 15 days in the field), the hardware that makes up the back pack straps on this bag have broken. Everything else on the bag is in good shape. I have the XL version of this bag. It is marketed as holding 36 standard size duck decoys and X number of magnum size decoys. The Avery Company did not do their home work when it came to weight. Most duck hunter carry a decent amount of decoys. Each decoy rigged in one way or another. All of these decoys add up to a decent amount of weight. I put 20 (GHG Pro Grade Floaters) decoys rigged with 4 oz. weights into the bag. Throwing the bag on my back it felt comfortable and balanced. I went to adjust the straps and the adjustment hardware broke. This was very disappointing. After inspecting the hardware it was clear it was not designed to take abuse or the load of duck decoys. Cheep plastic not designed to hold the correct amount of weight being the culprit. Even a small amount of field testing would have resulted in this weak link being found. As an owner of multiple Avery products I have always been very satisfied with the quality of their products. I believe that the Avery Company has made compromises and cut corners when they made these bags. It is sad to see a company with a good reputation in the waterfowl industry slip. I will think twice before buying another Avery product.

Comments about Avery Floating Decoy Bag XL, 36 Decoys:
I bought this decoy bag as a gift for my hubby so he could put all the new duck decoys in it that I got as well (4 new sets!) The bag is EXTRA LARGE!!! So it definitely holds ALL 24 life-size decoys that I got him, PLUS room for more! He loves that it is the perfect camo design for when we are out in the duck blind, plus it is 100% waterproof and floats.
It's so big that we joked around that I could cut some arm holes in it and get inside it while we hunt.
The only downfall is that when it is full, it is a bit heavy. But it still works great!!!
