Nosler's Ballistic Silvertip Bullets adds Lubalox external treatment that reduces fouling, lowers pressure and friction between the bullet and core, and creates less barrel wear. Streamlined polymer ballistic tip resists deformation in the magazine and initiates expansion upon impact. Boat tail configuration combines with the streamlined polymer tip for extreme long range performance. Fully tapered jacket and special lead-alloy core provide controlled expansion and optimum weight retention at all practical velocities. Heavy jacketed base prevents bullet deformation during firing and acts as a platform for large diameter mushroom.
