Comments about CCI Blazer® Model 3514 Handgun Ammo, 38 Special +P Caliber:
First of all- I used it in a Rock Island Armouries M1911 (.45)- with NOVAK magazines
Blazer makes decent ammo for the range, plinking and target practice. The problem with Blazer ammo is 1. You will need to clean your pistol after about 50-100 rounds, and DETAIL it (down to frame) after a trip to the range 2. It will leave ALOT of GSR on your hands and clothes, make sure you wash up before you eat (they do use lead) 3. Muzzle flash is CRAZY, it looks like your holding a dragon 4. Sometimes I have had them "stove-pipe", jamming the pistol. 5. Sometimes they jam in the magazine and don't want to feed right 6. Not the greatest accuracy when you get out past 30', and it's really bad at 50'
PRO's 1. The Blazer ammo is a fairly good alternative to some of the other "cheap" ammo 2. It's good for getting someone adjusted to a firearm (without wasting a lot of money) 3. Good alternative to more expensive rounds if you "just want to pop off some shots" 4. MUCH better alternative to Agula ammo
