The gift of this chair to my son in Afghanistan was a real winner. He was thrilled with it's comfort, durability and the ease of which it could be stored within his tent when not in use. This would be a great item for people to get together and send in quantities to our men and women in uniform. They have bunks but that's it for furniture. To have a place to sit and write or read, etc. and rest your back is priceless. [...] Thank you Gander Mountain. I'll come back to you for any future needs. Thank you again.

Enjoyed the chair when I first purchased it. I bought it prior to the 2010 high school football season. Used it at home games. Stored it in the house over the winter, pulled it out for the summer baseball season, it didn't make it through the first tournament. It's rated for 300 lbs and I only weigh 250. Can't give it two thumbs up on durability.

Comments about Gander Mountain™ 3-Position Reclining Chair, Hunter:
Aside from the chair being larger then most flod up chairs, this 3 position reclining chair is awesome. It is extremely comfortable and very easy to use. I think the quality of the chair and the comfort far outweigh the folded size, so it was well worth it. Yes it is bigger and heavier then the small model you are use to, but the quality and design is exactly why! A MUST have

Comments about Gander Mountain™ 3-Position Reclining Chair, Hunter:
I bought this chair for camping out with Boy Scouts. I like its size and comfort, which rivals the larger chairs other adult leaders use. I appreciate the fact that it opens and collapses easily and comes with a carrying bag. I also prefer the dark green fabric, which is a perfect color for the out of doors and Scouting.

A:
The chair does sit straight. The position change on the chair is located on the back inner legs, there is a button that is pushed in and this allows the inner back leg to slide up and down to one of three holes, the button will pop up and lock the chair into position.Answered on 1/5/2010 by Mom from WI
