Had this camera for 3 weeks and put on a well worn deer run. Camera took numerous shots that didn't come out, nite and day...but most were at dawn/dusk when the camera couldn't decide if it should use IR. The range isn't all that great so I moved it to a more open area where it would work better with the slower shutter speed upon detecting motion. It did make it through a curious racoon attack...but for another [$] I would go with something else like the Moultrie. Batteries only lasted 3 weeks w/60 pics and temps ranging between 25-60. Example of pic. below

Comments about Wildgame Innovations™ 4.0 MP Digital Game Camera:
This thing has lasted about a year and a half and it is still taking plenty of photos. It does amazing in cold weather. I simply cover mine in a camo blanket. It helps protect it from wind, rain, and hides it better too. Totally recommend it.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations™ 4.0 MP Digital Game Camera:
When it works, great. Dies when temperature dips below 40 degrees F, needs a few hours indoors and several resets to revive it. Occasionally loses images before I can get the camera to my computer. So far I have had several hundred pictures of grass and tree branches and about six pictures of deer. Last week I watched a doe, an eight pointer, a six pointer and a fork horn for over two hours in one of my meadows. They browsed about for over two hours, but the camera was unable to photograph them because of the slow triggering. It is supposed to measure temperature differences, but it seems to get a lot of pictures of weeds when the wind blows gently from the west. Totally useless here in Pennsylvania after August because of it's sensitivity to lower temperatures.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations™ 4.0 MP Digital Game Camera:
I use the product to scout game trails 24 hours. It was hard to get the camera set at the right height and angle, it was either taking pictures of the trees or pics of the ground. Once the height and angle has been established I recommend purchasing a SD card reader, this way you can leave the camera and just take the SD card.
The camera also has a built in clock, so each picture has the date and time. This aids in patterning movements.
Service and delivery comments:
The delivery was prompt.
Product did not arrive in good condition. The first product I recieved had been opened and was missing components.
Yes, customer service was available and helpful, I had a new camera within a couple of days.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations™ 4.0 MP Digital Game Camera:
I have 28 other cameras ranging from $50 Wildviews to $400 Cuddebacks and $800 Wildlife Eyes and overall I think this camera is a great camera for[$]. I was able to take two very nice bucks last year thanks to one of these cameras. I even left this in the woods from Thanksgiving until the end of January when I went back to take the stands out. The batteries were still good and it took a couple hundred pics including what I hope is next years buck.

use for scouting purposes. takes great pics until it's cold. infared and sd is the big plus. infared doesn't spook game. switching sd to minimize time in area is awesome. battery life is bad ecspecailly in cold weather reducing you to only daytime pictures and alot of black night time.

Is there any visible flash that would alert a human to the presence of this camera at night? I have a problem with theft and would like to use it to catch the perp.Asked on 7/23/2009 by Anonymous4 answers
A:
I am not an expert but believe infra red flash is not picked up by humans unless they are looking right at the camera. I believe if you look at the camera when the flash goes off you will notice it turn red.Answered on 7/30/2009 by stir crazy from Maryville, TNA:
There is no visible flash. I have used it to take many pictures of both deer and bear and they have never spooked from itAnswered on 8/3/2009 by Droppinem from Quantico VAA:
