            A 2 year old has to wear a life jacket 100% of the time when they are on a boat....This is actually the case until they are 13! Bottom line the jacket has to be comfortable to them and they have to want to wear it. My son loves his jacket he wants to wear it all the time. If he see's it in the house he will want to wear it around the house. It is awesome!! He will wear this brand the rest of his life. My husband and I are also getting one.

                    This vest is for my 2 year old. The vest reminds me of my first ski vest back in 1979-80, when I was a child. The vest is perfect for my son. It's his own which he loves. Plus, the vest dries easily for when he takes it off in the cabin; He then, will want it back on after lunch or after he is ready to go back into the lake. Hence, the perfection of the quick drying.

                            Construction and comfort. I'm always willing to spend a little more money on quality, construction and comfort. The lifejacket is something kids (swimmers or non swimmers) will wear all day, given the opportunity. Our kids are in the lake all day when we are, at our cabin in Minnesota. Our lifejackets are used regularly and often which makes for quality, comfort and construction; worth the extra dollars.

                            This vest may a little big. But it has a crotch strap which should not let the child slip out. We also offer an infant vest in a fabric cloth that is our best seller just for infants. The item number is 12563. This vest can be seen on line.
