Product Description

Enjoy the convenience of instant hot showers with matchless push-button ignition. Great for family camping. Portable and self-contained, the Hot Tap is equipped with a stainless-steel burner to provide hot water in just seconds. Includes a rugged plastic case that doubles as a 4-gallon water container. Powerful water pump delivers great water pressure. Requires four D batteries (not included). Uses 16.4 oz. disposable propane cylinders (not included). Heats over 60 gallons of hot water between battery and propane refills. Unit can also attach to a 5-gallon propane tank for long-duration use.

I have used this for 3 years now and it is a must that this be kept out of the elements and stored in a moisture free environment. The igniter failed the 1st year and Zodi does have a replacement but it is expensive. I decided to completely disassemble the unit and paint it with high quality heat resistant and corrosion resistant grill paint. Be sure its heat resistant paint! Also the hose clamps tend to wear out and leak after time but a short trip to the hardware store and you can get small hose clamps to fix that as well. I also retro fitted my own Petzel igniter and re drilled the hole for manual ignition out to accompany a grill lighter. The unit works well you can expect a 5-10 min shower with just 5 gallons. If you want a hotter shower just place the nozzle in the bucket for a few minutes and circulate the water. Then it's almost too hot to use. So if you like a steaming shower on the camp site this is perfect! PS bring extra batteries for the pump! Make sure to thoroughly read the directions and drain it if you live in an area that freezes! It is a good design but with meticulous care and some basic modifications this unit will last a long time.

Bought this unit while on vacation. Setup was easy and straight forward but when we tried to ignite burner it was difficult on first use, and by the second time we used it would not ignite! Propane would flow but ignition switch would not light gas until you had a buildup that resulted in dangerous and loud POP. We tried lighting manually after several more failures and could only get small flame on burner that never really got going enough to heat water efficiently. Tried several propane bottles to see if they were the issue but had same problems. Called Zodi after getting home and they said unit probably had bad ignition switch and we should return to Gander. I bought protection plan thru Gander and they were great in getting the matter taken care of monetarily, but I haven't decided if I will get another Zodi shower? I would recommend to friends but would do so only if they purchased protection plan in addition to shower.

I bought this product for the cabin so my wife could enjoy life more there. It was simple to set up and easy to use. A 5 gallon bucket of water lasted 15 minutes with a spare gallon or so in the bucket. After 8 showers we still hadn't used the entire first bottle of propane. I would suggest finding a clip to attach the head of the shower to your tent or framing used. I have been able to store a propane bottle, batteries and the unit inside the storage/water container. This product made my wife happy and my life easier.

After taking cold showers at the deer lease with an outside well pump, this is a must have. Don't like going to bed feeling dirty. Now the other guys in the deer camp are wanting to use mine as well. Used it for 4 years now. It's great. Just hang it from a tree and your ready. Not a lot of flow, but it sure gets the job done. The only thing, I wish I could hook up a stronger battery to maybe get stronger flow or need stronger pump. Still love it though! Going to get a shower inclosure next year

Using it as a substitute while our shower wall is repaired. It is fine for summer use, but with the portable shower enclosure, it is necessary to place it on a support so the hose reaches over the enclosure wall. It is top heavy, and with one tank, unstable when set on a support.
Nonetheless, for our need, with care, it is working fine.
