zebco Designed specifically for catching crappie and panfish, this combo features a micro-sized spinning reel that's perfect for use with very light lures. The combo includes a long, light-action rod, custom-matched for excellent performance. A fixed spool, exposed and located at the front of the reel, allows the line to flow freely during the cast. "Bail" wire guides the line back onto the spool. Casting and dipping rod setups.

        This is a very smooth operating combination. I use it in the front of my Bass Boat on a Driftmaster set up for spider fishing for crappie. I have seen a lot
        more expensive combinations that are no better than this one.

        Crappie fish regularly throughout fall, winter, and spring. Got this rig for jigging around stumps and brush. Second time out the reel fell apart. A screw that held the spooling loom fell out and most of the set up went into the river. The rod is decent, sensative enough, and seems durable.
