Product Description
Adopted in 1957, the M57 was a standard sidearm of the Yugoslavian army. Produced by Serbian Zastava Arms, the M57 is a TT-30-style pistol that uses the Browning short recoil dropping-barrel system found in the popular M1911. The M57 is easily differtianted from 1911 clones by its much simpler hammer/sear assembly with an external hammer, an assembly that's removable from the weapon as a modular unit and includes cartridge guides that provide reliable functioning. Among other improvements, the M57 has several locking lugs and its captive recoil spring is secured to the guide rod and does not depend on the barrel bushing to hold it under tension. This used pistol features fixed open sights and includes two 9-round magazines and a leather holster.
