I've had great success with this product. fishing shallow for bass in and around structure. I've also been dropping them on the lily pads and pulling bass out. Obviously any bait will wear out fast in that type of fishing you can only skin the hook so many times on any soft bait before it wears out. I'm going back and getting more.

        Im not really sure about in the ponds but on the river the small mouth love them. But once they loose there claws on the side they are not much good.
