Comments about Wright and McGill Wright & McGill Blair Wiggins Signature Series Tessera Casting Rod, 7'9":
This rod has become my favorite for wade fishing in Galveston, TX. The length of 7'9" is a little intimidating, but once having it in your hands you will relax. The measurement from the reel seat to the butt end is 15 inches, so it actually doesn't feel so lanky and provides great leverage for long casts. It's great paired with a low profile inshore reel, but I use an open face round inshore reel for the longer line capacity. It's definitely awesome for Bull Reds and monster Black Drum since it easily handles heavier line.

Comments about Wright and McGill Wright & McGill Blair Wiggins Signature Series Tessera Casting Rod, 7'9":
these Wright&McGill Blair Wiggins Inshore casting rods are worth every penny paid. I've been throwing the BW W&M casting rods for 3 years now and these are the best rods yet!!These rods have exceptional tip action and the butt-strenght is second to none. Besides being a beautiful blue color they just flat look cool.U can't go wrong with these rods; I have G-Loomis and even some custom rods and these are as good or better at 1/3 the price. And thanks to the by it in store [...] U can't go wrong with these rods.
