I was looking for an easy way to transfer fuel from a 6 gallon tank to my boat with a fuel filler in a difficult position. Thought the Wonder Pump would fill the bill. It did not. Product simply does not work. Read the instructions and tried the product many times without any success. Disappointed that Overtons would carry this product.

Pros
- Easy to Use
- Siphons Quickly
Cons
- Hose Is Too Short
Best Uses
- Siphoning Fuel
Comments about American Specialty Wonder Pump:
I use the Wonder Pump to siphon fuel from gas cans into my boat. The product works very well. It is easy to start the siphoning action with a rapid up and down motion of the hose in the gas can. However, the hose is only six feet long. This means that the product is only useful when the gas can is located very close to the fuel tank fill. I would like the product even more if the hose were 10 feet long.

Comments about American Specialty Wonder Pump:
Before the woner pump we would have to pour 5 gallon gas cans into our boat or Jet Ski by standing on the back of the boat, side of jet ski or bending over the edge of a dock. Bending over to hold the gas can while balancing on the back of you boat, Dock or jet ski not only was hard for the males in the family but was next to impossible for my wife and 14 year old. We where always spilling gas and it was painful on your back. The wonder PUMP MAKES filling a boat or Jet ski with gas so easy that my wife and young daughter can even fill the jet ski or boat with out spilling and the best part is it does not hurt your back. "IT'S SO EASY TO USE A WOMBAT COULD DO IT"

It is one continuous hose. The metal end goes where you are taking the gas from and the rubber end goes where you want the gas to go.Answered on 11/2/2012 by Jumper from Mt. Prospect, IL

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
No, it creates a syphon and will be gravity fed.Answered on 9/10/2009 by Matt from Overton's Tech.VERIFIED BUYER
A:
No it cannot. Just have a stool or short ladder nearby that you can put the gas can on. I have a fold up shelf that I attached to one of the pilings on my dock that fold down and set the can on. The shelf is higher than the gas fill opening on the boat.Answered on 7/9/2010 by Horsefish from Cape Coral, FLVERIFIED BUYER
A:
No. It is a siphon and what you are pumping to needs to be below what you are pumping from because siphons are gravity fed.Answered on 6/8/2011 by BKinSoCal from Mission Viejo, CAVERIFIED BUYER
