We bought two of these for a little pontoon boat my husband built and they work great. We wanted ones that would support his weight since he is 200 lbs and these hold up to 250 lbs and give great support for him. Plus they are nice looking and fold down.

I purchased 3 seats to replace Wise seats that were about 8 years old. The new ones have zinc plated screws, so I replaced them with the old stainless steel screws from my old seats. Zinc plated screws will rust quickly. The trim is stapled with short fine wire staples. I pulled out the staples on the hold down staps with very little effort. I re-stapled with a power stapler. I purchased these because I was very happy with my old (8 year) Wise seats, but I will try another manufacturer next time.

A:
I ordered seat and mounting stand to fit inside pole, which came with mounting hardware. The seat itself did not come with a bracket.Answered on 7/10/2012 by Lake Lady from Lake Lanier, Cumming Georgia
Q:
What is the bottom of this chair like? We'd like to use it on a pedestal.Asked on 5/11/2011 by Anonymous from Sparta,MI1 answer

A:
It appears to be a very hard plastic type grid. We put ours on a pedestal and also added a part that makes it able to swival around. I beleive it is set up for a pedestal and works great!Answered on 9/15/2011 by Annie the deck mate from Lake of the Pines, Calif.
