This is a very high quality, weatherproof, good looking chair. The only thing that I would recommend is that they remove the shipping plastic and create another packing system. They assembled the chair with the plastic still on the metal components of the chair which makes it very time consuming to remove the plastic. Overall, it is a very nice, quality chair and I am happy with my purchase.

I use these chairs to add seating to a fishing boat. They add good comfortable sturdy seating to my deck, in the event that I am cruising rather than fishing. Along with my fold down rear seating I can make a nice four person seating area. So no one has to feel second class. They are safe and heavy and will withstand fast speeds. I also added a gimbal to one of the chairs so that it could double as a fighting chair. When I fish, they can be folded and stored in the cuddy area, leaving my deck open for moving around. They don't fold flat, but that is a function of their comfort and sturdiness, but they fold enough to store. My boat is primarily a fishing boat 2320 Parker, but adding these chairs provides me with the added function of comfortably cruising. Time will tell how they will hold up in the sun and salt environment. But so far so good!

The chairs are great quality, sturdy and stable. Shame everything has to come from China, someday we'll figure that out. As many reviewers have noticed, removing the plastic from the framework is a pain, but I can't see anyway else they could do it, considering it is preassembled except for armrests.
