    I use the seat swivel in conjunction with a quick release in my 14' aluminum boat. I have one on the bow and one on the stern benches. This allows 360 degree movement for fan casting around the boat.

          Installed this in my duck boat. Good, quality heavy-duty construction. Easy to install...the only downside is that it doesn't come with any of the mounting nuts/bolts, but it does come with specific instruction on what nuts/bolts to use. I suppose this is because they don't know the thickness of the bench you are mounting it to, so they don't know what length to provide. Nuts/bolts are cheap enough, though, so it's not a big deal.

            I've had these before and had a hard time finding them again. When I did locate them, they arrived on time and worked out great. These are for a jon boat and I didn'twant to spend a fortune for other seat swivels.

                  My pedestal seat on our cabin cruiser previously swiveled simply by rotating on the post. However the flimsy nylon bushing wore out and I could not find a replacement, therefore it was very difficult to swivel the seat due to metal on metal contact. I added the Swivel by Wise between the seat and the post support and the seat now swivels with ease. This swivel would be a great addition to any fixed position boat seat.

                      The whole mount is 1 inch thick. The supplier was unable to give the thickness of the metal parts. It will be strong enough to mount a seat to and sit on it though. If you have similar questions to this one then give our technical department a call at 1-888-683-7866.
