My Anschutz 1717 D HB produced groupings half the size of Hornady's and Federal ammo. Totally impressed with the accuracy of the Winchester V-max round.

Theese bullets from winchester hold a tighter sub-moa than the federals or hornadays in my marlin 917v with a barska 6x24x50 at 100 yards, from a bi-pod and bench! Can't wait till hunting season.

Comments about Winchester Varmint HV Ammo, .17 HMR, 17 Grain, V-Max:

This is the worst ammo I have ever used. Almost half the rounds didn't fire and the ones that did were incredibly innaccurate. A few rounds fired somewhat accurately, but most varied by close to 6 inches one way or another.
