Comments about Winchester® Supreme Elite™ XP3®, 30-06 SPR 150GR:
I ran out of my own reloads 165gr Nosler Boattail. A friend of mine suggested this bullet; I wanted to buy the 180gr bullet but Gander was sold out of them and had to settle for the 150gr. I shot three deer using this round two does and one buck. When I shot the two does I had a pass through shot. One doe dropped where she stood, 225 yards, thrashed a bit got up and ran 30 yard and died tired. Second doe, 200 yards, staggered a bit ran apx. 140 yards and the out come was the same as the first doe. The buck dropped where it stood at 250 yards and stayed there. All three shot where lung shots. I was expecting more energy absorption from the does than getting a pass through shot and both does where nice size. All in all a very good round. Hoping to try the 180gr next year. Going to look for these in reloads!! Which grain don't know yet.

Comments about Winchester® Supreme Elite™ XP3®, 30-06 SPR 150GR:
This is a highly accurate round similar to the Ballistic Tip style but with the durability of a bonded bullet. I am a professional Hog hunter and this round has out performed all others. The expansion is incredible so all the energy is absorbed by the animal (just what you want). For those of you who do not know Hogs are considered thick skinned dangerous game (200+ lbs.) When accuracy and performance is what you are looking for this is the round of choice. Happy Hunting from all of us at Hog Hunting Strategies.
