Comments about Winchester® Super X Pump Black Shadow, 12 Gauge:
This was my first gun, and I love it! I bought it for high school trap shooting team and I wasn't positive I would love trap shooting so I wanted a cheap gun, and in case I did like it I wanted a reliable, accurate, big-brand shotgun with low recoil. That's exactly what I got. Sure, you could buy the 870 or the 500 for less money but I think the SXP Black Shadow outperforms them (and it looks really cool). The SXP is also really easy to disassemble and clean. My only criticism is that the slide was a bit sticky at first, but it works just fine now. But GREAT gun overall.

Comments about Winchester® Super X Pump Black Shadow, 12 Gauge:
This is my firt Winchester and all I can say is that if I ever need a shotgun it will be a Winchester. I have a Remington 870 Wingmaster, Mossberg 500 & 535, Ithica Featherweight, and a Beretta. This thing beats all of them hands down. This shotgun is lightning fast, you can literally shoot it one handed and the slide will blow back ejecting the spent shell. Try that with your other shotguns. Super fast follow ups and less felt recoil. The best part is it is super easy to clean as the bolt comes out with the slide. Three pieces and your gun is completly disassembled. You can also very easily remove the firing pin to clean as well. When comparing it to everthing I have including the pump guns I've fired (Benelli included) this is a far superior firearm. Well worth the every penny spent. Gotta save up for the SX3 now!

Comments about Winchester® Super X Pump Black Shadow, 12 Gauge:
This is my very first gun to own (have shot several other guns) and I love it! The only thing I am using it for is trap shooting, so the long barrel, long stock, vented rib, and heavy-duty "inflex" recoil pad are great bonuses. Your shoulder won't bother you at all for AT LEAST 40 shells (while using 7 1/2 shot 2 3/4" target loads) so it's great for people shooting a lot in a short period of time and/or beginners, and compared to other 12 G shotguns, it's pretty quiet. Also, it's very easy to disassemble/clean, and I definitely can't complain about the assisted pump (which lets your pop off about three rounds a second!). Trigger pull is nice and crisp too. The only problem I've had with it was a little bit of a sticky slide at first, but I oiled it up a little bit and then it was working just fine.

Comments about Winchester® Super X Pump Black Shadow, 12 Gauge:
Overall very impressed. Took the gun out for the first time and shot about 30 rounds throughout the course of the day. Was small game hunting mostly, but shot some clay pigeons as well. So far no problems, trigger seemed very heavy at first, at the end of the day it had broken in nicely and lightened up. The inertia assisted pump takes some getting used to. It took a while to let the recoil open the action by itself. At first I was holding the slide in place. Once I realized that I could reload faster by letting it work, the gun really started to shine. Follow up shots come twice as fast as my friend with his 870...awesome so far and couldn't be happier

Comments about Winchester® Super X Pump Black Shadow, 12 Gauge:
I bought this gun on 11/10/11 and took it out to shoot up some clay, I was convinced before 10 shot shells that this was a solid, well made shotgun. Winchester did an awesome job! I love my SXP, it was worth every penny.
