It is hard to imagine a more beautiful representation of the Model '73, popularly known as "The Gun That Won the West." With its tough and rugged steel cased colored receiver and it's classic round barrel with traditional sights, this rifle is as ready for serious shooting and hunting as the originals were over 140 years ago. The straight-grip stock is constructed from Grade II/III walnut with a classic rifle-style forearm and crescent buttplate. The barrel has a polished blued finish and a full-length magazine tube underneath. The sights are a Marble's gold bead up front with a semi-buckhorn sight on the rear. The steel buttplate, lever, forend cap, and loading gate are all color case-hardened. The rear tang is drilled and tapped for a tang-mounted rear sight (not included). 39" overall length. 13" length-of-pull.
