A slightly modified version of the Browning designed Model 1886, The Winchester Model 71 was a lever-action rifle introduced in 1936 and discontinued in 1958. The hard-hitting .348 cartridge was found to be very effective against North American big game. The Deluxe Model 71 has a checkered grip and forearm. This rifle features a hooded front sight and a peep rear sight. The rifle's stock has been refinished. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
