A slightly modified version of the Browning designed Model 1886, The Winchester Model 71 was a lever-action rifle introduced in 1936 and discontinued in 1958. The hard-hitting .348 cartridge was found to be very effective against North American big game. This pre-war long-tang model rifle features a 24" round barrel, a post front sight, and an aftermarket adjustable peep sight. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
