A slightly modified version of the Browning designed Model 1886, the Winchester Model 71 was a lever-action rifle introduced in 1936 and discontinued in 1958. The hard-hitting .348 cartridge was found to be very effective against North American big game. This 1945-manufactured firearm features an adjustable rear sight, a half-cock on hammer safety, and a Weaver 1-inch side-mounted scope base and rings. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
