Comments about Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Centerfire Rifle:
Just purchased the featherweight in 270 Win. While I haven't had time to fire it, I am VERY impressed with the balance and feel thus far. FN has done a great job with the model 70. Fit and finish seams to be second to none. They have glass bedded to recoil lug and tang areas and is really a tight fit. The bolt is very very smooth. The MOA trigger was factory set at 5lbs. which didn't feel like it. NO creep or over travel that I can tell ; it just drops & stops. I would say to anyone that is in the market for a bolt gun; You need to check the New model 70 out!
Service and delivery comments:
Gander Mountain had to order this for me. I will say that it was on time; in good condition; the service was very helpful; and they are priced with anyone that I have checked with ( which was quite a few ). Thanks Gander Mountain.

Comments about Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Centerfire Rifle:
Just purchased this rifle due to it being made in the USA again. have not fired it yet; but I will say that the fit and finish are very very good. The bolt is silky smooth. The tang and recoil lug areas are bedded which makes a soild connection with the stock. The barrel is free floated. The balance and feel is second to none. FN has done a GREAT job in the production on the NEW Featherweight. Can't wait to get to the range.
