Product Description
Based on the earlier Model 60 and sold from 1934 to 1963, the Model 67 was the mainstay of Winchester's inexpensive single-shot rifle lineup. The 67 is designed to shoot .22 short, long, and long rifle cartridges interchangeably. As with the Model 60 from which it was derived, the cocking piece at the rear of the Model 67's bolt has to be manually drawn rearwards to cock the action after closing the bolt, but the design was improved to incorporate a wing-style safety. The 67 is built around a takedown design and the barreled action is easily removed by turning a screw under the stock using a penny. The rifle features a stock made of oil-finished walnut with a pistol grip and finger grooves. This rifle features a fixed front sight with an adjustable rear sight and a wing safety. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
