An updated version of the T.C. Johnson-designed 1903, Winchester's Model 63 is known for its economy of design, quick-handling properties, and smooth functioning. The Model 63, introduced in 1933, was chambered for the popular and widely available .22 Long Rifle cartridge rather than the antiquated .22 Winchester ammo used by its predecessor. The Model 63 did, however, retain the 1903's unique design with a tubular magazines in the butt stock of the rifle that's loaded through a slot in the right side of the butt stock. This modern reproduction rifle features a fixed front sight, an elevation-adjustable rear sight, and a cross-bolt safety. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
