Winchester's Model 60 is an elegant, well-built pre-war rimfire rifle based on the company's earlier Model 1904. The 60 is designed to shoot .22 short, long, and long rifle cartridges interchangeably. The cocking piece at the rear of the Model 60's bolt has to be manually drawn rearwards to cock the action after closing the bolt. The Model 60 also has a rotating safety with the "SAFE" and "FIRE" indications easily read through oblong holes in the bolt. This rifle features an adjustable rear sight and a bolt-mounted pull safety. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
