The John Browning-designed 1906 Model was the second in a series of slide-action rifles that Winchester produced. The rifle is a takedown model produced as a lower-cost alternative to the 1890. While later models could chamber .22 short, long, or long rifle, the earliest 1906s could only fire .22 short. This 1906-manufactured rifle features a post front sight with an elevation adjustable rear sight. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in fair condition.
