The Model 1886 is another result of the genius of John M. Browning and features what is generally recognized as one of the finest actions ever developed. The 1886 was made to stand up to the heavier loads of the day and its basic design resurfaced later in the Winchester Model 71. This rifle has been restored by Turnbull Restoration and is one of only 500 calibered in .475 Turnbull. It features an octagonal barrel and adjustable semi-buckhorn sights. Its wood and bore in very good condition and its metal is in excellent condition.
