The Model 1886 is another result of the genius of John M. Browning and features what is generally recognized as one of the finest actions ever developed. The 1886 was made to stand up to the heavier loads of the day and its basic design resurfaced later in the Winchester Model 71. This 1887-manufactured lever-action rifle features an octagonal barrel, a blade front sight, and an adjustable rear sight. The rifle's wood, metal, and bore are all in NRA good condition.
