Designed by John Browning, the Model 1885 is known as one of the finest single-shot rifles ever produced. Its falling block action is noted for its strength and incredible inherent accuracy. The stock is a straight grip style with a Schnabel forearm. The full octagon, semi-heavy barrel is 28" long and deeply blued. This rifle features a fixed front sight with an elevation-adjustable rear sight. Its wood and bore are in good condition. Its metal is in fair condition.
