I used lag bolts, two, to secure it to the tree. Setup is faster than bungee cords and cable locks. My wildgame camera fits inside like a glove, and the cutouts in the front, are only what is necessary for the camera to funtion, not much of the camera exposed.. Heavy duty construction, and liked the latching setup. You will need to camo it though ,it comes with a dark grey powder coat finish. I have three now and i also still have three cameras as well!

I mounted it to a tree with 3 screws3". Latched it up and padlocked it.
Came back in 20 hrs and it was gone. Box was ripped open by bending metal. Read complete review

Easily stole my camera that was in this box in the woods. Good mounting design but bad locking design.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations Small Camera Metal Security Box:

This box does not hold the camera secure at all. All you have to do is bang up on the bottom left corner and the small tabs on the left side will come right out of the backplate. All the thief has to do then is bend it around enough to get your camera out. This has happened to me twice and will never happen again.I'ved showed this to several local people and they could not believe it was that easy to get into. Weld a second tab on the left side of the box like there is on the right and problem solved. 1 more lock for piece of mind knowing your hard earned money won't be stolen is worth it.

I purchased 3 of these and couldn't be happier with them. A thief or animal is really going to have to spend sometime on them to get to the camera...

This security box is very well built and easy to use. The Wildgame camera fits perfectly. I think there is very little chance of anyone getting into the box to tamper with the camera.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations Small Camera Metal Security Box:

I lost 3 Wildgame cameras to bears last fall, but since I purchased 4 of the Wildgame Security boxes I haven't had a problem since. I have all 4 cameras in the field now, but I don't have the problem with bears to worry about. Once you put these cameras in the boxes it's like putting money in the bank. Their safe. Thanks once again for a great product.
