I have had several cameras and this one has all the features and settings you will ever need and at great price. The infrared flash picks up deer easily at 40+ feet and the daytime color pictures are very sharp and have excellent clarity. I am using a 8G memory card and the storage capacity is amazing. I have at least 5 friends who just bought one and are equally happy. Good hunting.

the first one of these I bought I put straight out in to the woods for week and a half. Got 2 pics. both at night and competely black (no image at all of anything). I reset the camera and wated 2 more days came back I had great pics of bears in the day but 6 at night were all black again. Sent it back got a replacement for it and it works fine. It works best on food plots not trails the trigger speed is not fast enought for walking anything. Night pics are fuzzy but it dose not completly destort the pic. You can defanetly see the pic.

I use the camera for scouting deer and their movements. It has decent picture quality. The only thing i dont care for as much is the size. You can't beat the price.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations 4.0 MP Digital Scouting Camera with Infrared Flash:
I bought two about 4 weeks ago and immediately set them out on trails around my hunting stands. Ten days later, one was working well but the other was stone dead! The defective unit would not power up at all and had not one picture on it. I had tested them both for function in my home prior to putting them out and they both worked initially. I sent it back to Gander and they are shipping a replacement. The one that still works takes great shots both day and night. So, they are a 50/50 shot at getting one that works.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations 4.0 MP Digital Scouting Camera with Infrared Flash:
I had been buying Cuddeback cameras which take excellent pictures both day and night. I saw that Gander Mountain was discounting the 4MP Camo Digital Game Scouting camera so I thought I would try it. Simple to use and set up. Day light pictures were excellent. Night/dark pictures were of very poor quality. I also think they only picked up wildlife about 10, maybe 15 feet out in the dark. I would recommend this camera for the price with the understanding that night pictures are very poor.

Comments about Wildgame Innovations 4.0 MP Digital Scouting Camera with Infrared Flash:
This camera is a good choice if you are setting up on stationary sets where the game can be close, and is hanging around. Feeders, scrapes, and trails where you can set up and give the camera 2 seconds to get a picture is best.
Not a bad camera for the price.

Q:
What is the maximum distance that this camera will give good images?Asked on 9/14/2010 by Need help from AL3 answers
A:
20 Yards for good night images. More during daylight.Answered on 10/31/2010 by GeekintheWoods from Milwaukee, WIA:
25 yards in the day time but less at night. Works best on scrapes or mineral licks.Answered on 11/29/2010 by Jr. from Cashton WIA:
Nightime - 40 feet or more with the help of photo software (brighten, adjust gamma, etc). Daytime the images are good to infinity, but the sensor range is approx. 40-50 feet, so any animal further away than that will not trip the sensor to take a picture.Answered on 11/30/2010 by gahunter from georgia
