The product was very easy to use and required no assembly. And boy was it quick and quiet!

Received this as a gift and would recommend anyone who makes their own jerky or that cuts their own bulk meat like I do to grab one of these.

      Best Uses

      • Ruining Cuts Of Meat

Comments about Weston Realtree Outfitters 7-1/2" Meat Slicer:

This thing is made of very cheap, lightweight plastic. The blade is so dull that my attempts to slice bacon just ended up in the meat getting pulled down by the blade, rather than being cut. This resulted in the most unevenly-cut bacon I've ever seen; most pieces had a thick side that tapered down to a rag of meat, where it got pulled down into the blade and I had to just tear it off.

Also, the platform where the meat rests is so small (length-wise, not depth-wise) that I had to cut the bacon in half or it wouldn't fit.
