Product Description
west_system Clear, light amber, low viscosity liquid. Specifically designed to wet out and bond with wood fiber, fiberglass, and some metals. Self-leveling with roller applications. Cures in wide temperature range and can be sanded or shaped afterward. Relatively high flash point. Excellent adhesive when mixed with filler to reduce sag. Viscosity is approximately 1000 CP at 70° F. Use #300 mini pumps for accurate dispensing.

    I have a wooden boat that I stripped some old fiberglass off of, the plywood was quiet moist but is now totally dry. I am wondering what I can use to paint on and to use as a filler in a few areas. I plan on then covering the areas with fiberglass. would this product work for me?

    The TV show"ship shape" used this west system as a finish on plywood. It did not show the hardner being used. Is the hardener necessary for the resin to dry?

      yes, it does not dry, it is a chemical reaction that changes it into a solid polymer
