      Unfortunately for me, I selected the wrong size scope ring, it was my fault. I had ordered it online as it was easier than going to the Gander Mt. retail store that I am lucky enough to have only 20 miles away. However, when the scope rings arrived and did not fit, [...] I took the rings back and ended up buying some 9mm ammo, as they did not have the rings I needed in the store.[...] I won't hesitate to buy online again.

        Comments about Weaver .22 Tip-Off Mount:

        This scope mount locked securely in place and never moved a bit. 22WMR bolt action has more kick than 22LR but I believe this mount could take the punishment that a large caliber rifle would inflect. Overkill is always good and I would highly recommend this scope mount to any person who wants a good quality scope on a rim fire rifle with 3/8 dovetail grove!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            A:

            If your rifle has a 3/8 grove it will work, but if you a 1 inch grove you will need a 1 inch weaver mount instead of the tip off mount.
