Billed as "the world's strongest bolt action," the Mark V is the rifle that changed the face of American firearms. The Mark V delivers pinpoint accuracy shot after shot. It utilizes three rings of steel surrounding the casehead, a fluted bolt body with three gas ports, and nine locking lugs for a short 60-degree bolt throw. The Sporter variant of the Mark V is built on a raised-comb, satin-finished Monte Carlo walnut stock with fineline, diamond point checkering and a rosewood forend and grip cap. Its bead-blasted, blued metalwork with a low-luster finish prevents glare and a standard Pachmayr Decelerator pad helps dampen recoil. This rifle features a Leupold VX-III 3.5-10x40mm scope with Leupold-style scope-mounting bases and rings, Butler Creek flip-up scope covers, an adjustable trigger, and a 2-position safety. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
