With its lightweight design and plastic wrap-around grips for added comfort, the Walther PPK pistol continues to set the standard to which all other compact semiautomatic pistols are compared. The PPK is a smaller, blowback-operated version of the Walther PP with a shorter grip and barrel. The trigger is double-action, with an exposed hammer and a frame-mounted manual safety with an integrated decocker. The magazine release button is located at the left side of the frame, just below the slide and in front of the grip panel for easy access. All PPK pistols are fitted with a loaded chamber indicator, made in the form of a small pin that protrudes from the rear of the slide, above the hammer when a cartridge is in the chamber. The PPK/S Premier has a scroll leaf engraved slide. This handgun is one of only 400 made and has engraved rosewood grips, a blade front sight with a rear notch, a decocking safety, and a 7-round magazine. Its grips, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
