Walther's police pistol was a great leap forward in pistol design at the time of its release and its sleek, smooth lines and flawless action are still appreciated today. First released in 1929, the Walther PP and its compact variant, the PPK, were among the world's first successful double action semi-automatic pistols. The PP is blowback-operated pistol with a fixed barrel, which also acts as the guide rod for the recoil spring. The trigger is double-action, with an exposed hammer and a frame-mounted manual safety with an integrated decocker. The magazine release button is located at the left side of the frame, just below the slide and in front of the grip panel for easy access. This pistol features an N proof-mark and a blade front sight with a rear notch and includes a 6-round magazine and a leather flap holster. Its grips and bore are all in good condition and its metal is in fair condition.
