walther The Walther P22 is fascinating in its compact size, while still maintaining all of the features of a full size pistol. Constructed using a modular manufacturing concept, the P22 offers several different equipment configurations. Features include interchangeable backstraps that create an ideal fit to the shooters hand, ambidextrous controls for right or left-handed shooters, an integrated trigger lock and loaded chamber indicator, a magazine disconnect, a hammer safety and firing pin safety for safe and reliable operation, a fixed barrel for incredible accuracy, and a windage adjustable rear sight that combines with an interchangeable elevation adjustable front sight for variations in shooter operations. The P22 Target model features a 5" barrel for added precision. Nickel finish. New York & Maryland compliant.

    Comments about Walther P22 Target Handgun:

    Although I am not a big fan of Walther (because of jamming issues with their earlier .380 model). They did this one right maybe because they are part of S&W now.
    I use this gun primarily for target/plinking shooting, and it's pretty accurate, I have fed just about all types of ammo in to it, still no jams after about 1400 rounds.
    I have both the 4 and 5 inch barrels and switch between the two often (taking it apart in the field is quick and easy). The 4 inch version is very concealable, although I would not recommend this caliber for personal protection.
    It's a light, fun and economical gun to shoot, I recommend it to folks of all ages.
