Comments about Wasp Archery WASP Jak-Hammer SST 100-Grain Mechanical Broadhead:
I have used this broadhead to harvest over 50 deer. I have never had an issue with this broadhead as long as I did my job. Very reliable, opens every time and the blood trails are awesome but rarely needed. Have tried numerous broadheads so that I can discuss their performance when teaching IBEP courses but this is the one that I consistently return to. I only take broadside or slightly quartering shots and am not disappointed in the results. Will continue to use this broadhead until I find something better.

Comments about Wasp Archery WASP Jak-Hammer SST 100-Grain Mechanical Broadhead:
I bought these on sale at Gander Mountain for a VERY GOOD price. I shot a turkey at 25 yards. It left a devastating hole through one thigh, both breasts and the ribcage, then through the other thigh. The broadhead and arrow were in perfect condition after the shot. I cleaned it up and it's in the quiver for the next hunt. I'm very impressed!!!

Comments about Wasp Archery WASP Jak-Hammer SST 100-Grain Mechanical Broadhead:
I've used Wasp Broadheads since they came out with great success. I had to go to a crossbow this year for physical reasons, so I wanted to try the Jak-Hammer SST. They shoot great...same as field point. The only reason I could not give it 5 stars is because I have to wait for October archery season to shoot at a whitetail. Untill then I can't comment on penetration.

Comments about Wasp Archery WASP Jak-Hammer SST 100-Grain Mechanical Broadhead:
Shot my buck at 30 yards, with a 45 pound draw weight. He was quartering away. The arrow went through the heart, out to the other side, and stopped in the inside leg. Nice and deadly.

Comments about Wasp Archery WASP Jak-Hammer SST 100-Grain Mechanical Broadhead:
Double lung pass through on a nice buck from 20 yards. Huge exit wound, tremendous blood trail. Deer went 30 yards and was done. Great expandable to practice with. Just tie fishing line around the blades. I shot them 5 times, and then re-tied the fishing line to make sure it didn't come undone. Shot 5 more times just to practice. They fly very true to field points. The only drawback: Upon impact with the gound/mud after the pass-through, the casing that hold the blades was bent beyond repair. It seems to be a cheaper plastic case. The blades are still sharp, but if the casing is bent, the broadhead is done. I was hoping for better duarability. Also, it is tough to find replacement o rings. Gander doesn't carry them.

Comments about Wasp Archery WASP Jak-Hammer SST 100-Grain Mechanical Broadhead:
Very good penetration with the 1 1/4 inch cutting diameter. Flies like a field point. Shot a doe from above in between the shoulders. Arrow exited the deers stomach and then re entered the deers ham and still exited out the rear of the ham. Deer dropped intantly. Best broadhead I have ever shot. She was also at a bad angle when I shot. Good price for this product.
