Built at the Vyatskie Polyany Machine Building Plant in Russia, VEPR rifles are manufactured using state-of-the-art technology, effectively creating a heavier duty weapon that will last through, not just a lifetime, but for many generations to come. The AK-based design and construction of the VEPR provides reliable operation and high-grade shooting in various weather and climatic conditions. The VEPR's parts are manufactured using the same equipment as the well known lightweight machinegun the RPK. Its extra heavy duty receiver and hammer-forged barrel provide much better accuracy and durability. The rifles come with adjustable open sighting devices and a rail for a scope mount attached to the left side of the receiver. This allows for shooting from the rifle with an open sight without taking away the scope. The wooden stocks have a thumbhole for comfort and secure hold. This rifle features a post front sight with an adjustable tangent rear sight and a 2-position safety and comes with one 10-round magazine and one 20-round magazine. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
