Comments about Federal Premium Vital-Shok Ammo, 30-06, 180 gr.:
The TSX bullets are lead free. Though copper alloy bullets have gotten a bad rap from a lot of hunters, I have not had a single issue.
Knowing that I'm not putting lead particles into my body is another big plus. These bullets expand 100% and stay in tact. Massive tissue and bone damage!
The rounds create large wound channels - even on tough & onnery wild hogs. No problem penetrating that thick shoulder blade!
I haven't shot anything other than Federal Vital-Shok (with Barnes TSX or TTSX) through any of my guns since these came out. I sold all of my lead ammo on line & bought the TSX and TTSX ammo for all of our guns.
No feeding issues, even in my old Winchester 740 30-06. Those of you in the know, know that those guns are finiky eaters! No issues! It's now a hot rod!

Comments about Federal Premium Vital-Shok Ammo, 30-06, 180 gr.:
I bought this ammo specifically for whitetailed deer. I have only used it on the range so far but found it to be extremely accurate. Consistant one inch groups at 100 yards.

Comments about Federal Premium Vital-Shok Ammo, 30-06, 180 gr.:
Federal ammo loaded with Barnes bullets is all I use now. I am really sold on it for hunting. Far superior to cup & core bullets!
