Uberti 1873 New Model Cattleman Bird's Head Handgun

Uberti has re-created some of the special-order single action cattleman six-shooters that would have been right at home on the dangerous streets of Dodge City, Kansas. The Uberti 1873 Cattleman series replicates many popular variations of the Colt 1873 Single Action Army, arguably the best-selling pistol ever produced. While it had been used for years in Colt's Derringers, the bird's head grip design introduced to the full-sized Lightning and Thunderer six-guns in 1877 and quickly became popular with Old West shooters. This replica features a case-hardened frame and a steel backstrap and trigger-guard. The New Model Cattleman features an improved cylinder-pin retainer that's spring-loaded for easier release and removal of the cylinder pin. It also has a slightly higher fixed front sight and an oblong ejector-plunger grip.
