Thousands of Colt converted percussion revolvers found their way into the hands of sheriffs, outlaws, gunfighters, soldiers, cowboys, miners and ranchers throughout the Old West. The Uberti Open-Tops are exactly like the original conversion model Colts with frames that are retrofitted with loading gates to accommodate cartridges. The 1871 Navy has spacers like those the originals needed to function safely with shortened cartridge conversion cylinders. The frame is case-hardened and the trigger guard and backstrap are brass. This revolver features a blade front sight with a rear groove and 1-piece walnut grips and comes with the original factory box. Its grips, its metal, and its bore are all in very good condition.
