Product Description

The Remington Arms company began production of 1858 New Army single action revolvers, and five years later the single action army had gained a foothold. In 1863, an improved version of the rugged .44 caliber, also known as the Remington-Beals revolver, was purchased by the U.S. Army. The 1858 New Army Uberti revolver is available with a stainless steel frame, cylinder, hammer, and backstrap. The Uberti 1858 New Army is fitted with a brass trigger guard on both stainless and blued models. The 1858 New Army features an octagonal barrel with a dovetailed front sight and loading lever latch.
