Poorish quality
Quality of the burr finish is good but the centre part to which it is mated is low quality plastic that does not look good at all. Poor finishing as well.

It doesn't come with instructions and the manufacturer would not return my emails. It's beautiful, but I haven't figured out how to install it on my 1980 Formula. Grant seems to be a better company regarding support.

Comments about Uflex USA UFlex Antigua Steering Wheel:
The steering wheel was very easy to install and adjust to true, but it is very flexible. You could push and pull the top 1"-2". That did not seem safe to me.

It looks great, was easy to install,it may be a little small for a 34' boat but I like it. I like that you can easily adjust it. It would be dynamite on a ski boat.

A:
These do not cross reference to any particular boat year make and model. They will fit standard 3/4" tapered shafts. I would ask a mechanic if you have a 3/4 in tapered shaft and that will let you know if this will fit your application.Answered on 3/25/2010 by Bryant from Tech

These wheels fit most all boats, but you would benefit to check that you have a 3/4" tapered shaft on your current wheel.Answered on 12/22/2009 by Bob from Overtons Tech
Q:
i have a 50ft cranchi will this steering wheel fit and will it matchAsked on 10/22/2009 by Anonymous1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
To be completely honest with you we do not know what size shaft the steering on a cranchi has, but I can tell you that if you ask your boat dealer if the steering shaft on your cranchi is a standard 3/4" tapered shaft and they tell you it is, then this will work. Only certified boat dealers can reference specific boat parts, so we are left to mostly universal and standard marine parts, and for this reason we do not know what size the steering shaft is for any particular application. If you have similar questions please give our technical department a call at 1-888-683-7866 and we will gladly assist you with figuring out what size steering shaft you have on your application.Answered on 10/28/2009 by OVERTON'S from TECHNICIAN
Q:
What do I do if I dont know the size of the shaft. Im looking to replace the wheel on my 97 Maxum 2100 sr. I can get the wheel off by taking off the hex bolts, but cannont get the column off the shaft.Asked on 5/26/2009 by Randy from Canton GA1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Randy - This wheel fits a 3/4" taper shaft which is found on almost all boats in your size range. This wheel will need to slide over the shaft so you will still need to completely remove the old wheel assembly from the helm shaft.Answered on 5/28/2009 by Michael from Overtons
Q:

Rick:
Thanks for your interest in our products! To answer your question the Uflex Antigua Steering Wheel will work for you and your application as long as your shaft is a 3/4" tapered shaft.
