I just got into bow hunting this past year and used to have a whisker biscuit. By switching to the trophy taker drop away my groups have tightened up very nicely. I used to shoot 40 yards max and now have stretched my shots out to 50-60 yards with 3 inch groups. I went with the trophy taker because of the all metal construction. With it I dont have to worry about broken plastic pieces when I'm out in sub-zero temps. Plus Gander Mountain had a sale at the end of the year and I was able to buy this rest for 25% off. I'm looking forward to this upcoming season!!!

Rope Breaker

Comments about Trophy Taker X-Treme FC Top-Slot Fall-Away Arrow Rest:
Great function. Poor adhesion on the rest itself. Three years of use and the rubberised coating came off and now it's metal to carbon when you draw the bow.

Comments about Trophy Taker X-Treme FC Top-Slot Fall-Away Arrow Rest:
i just bought this rest about a month ago and i absolutly love it! it is deadly acurate and very smooth and quiet. i would highly recomend this rest for anyone who loves archery. it is very easy to apply to bow and very quick to tune. i am now shooting groups the size of a quarter at 30 yards b/c of this rest. this rest is very durable. i have had no problems since i bought it. and i have shot over 100 arrows threw it now. if you are looking for a very forgiving and durable rest this is the best one for the price. Get one!!!

Comments about Trophy Taker X-Treme FC Top-Slot Fall-Away Arrow Rest:
This is the BEST rest i have ever used in my life. Speed has definatly increased and so has accuracy. The con i gave it (poor construction) is because right where the cable connects to the launcher the cable breaks about every one or two months but i like this thing so much that i am willing to buy a new cable for this product every time it breaks. Bottom line,i say for all of you archers that want a good arrow rest that wont let you down, BUY THE TROPHY TAKER NOW.

Do the arrow vanes ever touch the rest?Asked on 1/14/2009 by Tyler from Wisconsin3 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The vanes never touch the rest. The containment ring is large enough that the vanes pass through.Answered on 2/3/2009 by Bradley from Gander MountainVERIFIED BUYER
A:
Not if your bow is tuned correctly. I shoot VaneTec Vmax HP vanes (the exact profile of the Blazer 2" vanes) and have NO problems. If you try one of these and your vanes touch, then you either use REALLY tall vanes, or your bow is not tuned and your arrows are not leaving the bow correctly.Answered on 2/27/2009 by The Great White Hunter from Anderson, InVERIFIED BUYER
A:
I shoot Blazers and have had no problems. If you put the odd feather up there is more than enough clearence for any type of vane.Answered on 2/27/2009 by MidwestMonsterBucks.com from Eastern Iowa
