    • Q:

Would this be good for a shotgun that shoots slugs
      Asked on 1/26/2010 by Anonymous

      • A:

No. This is intended for ar style rifles. The 4x magnification would not be what you want for a shot gun, given the limited range accuracy. Look into something like an Eotech, trijicon also makes a red dot type optic that is no magnification.

Answered on 7/9/2012 by Steve from Lombard
      • A:

No. It wouldn't. All of Trijicon's optics (with the exception of the red-dots) are designed for specific calibers. This one is only for 5.56/.223

      • A:

yes and no its good if you have a rifled barrel and slugs it would be for aleast 100yds away and no because it is hard to sight in by the time you will get it sighted in the animal will dissaper and yes there more for 223 and 556 rifles no shotguns

    • Q:

What is the view looking thru the scope? Do you have a picture. I have a Gander mountain store in Ashland VA and they have a sight with a red ^ and elevation and wind markings. It sells for approx $1400. What are the differences?
Asked on 1/25/2010 by Dick from Montpelier, VA

      1 answer

      • A:

The view is just like any other scope....the ACOG above with the yellow recticle...Is not a Bindon system...meaning that when your looking through the scope...during the day/night with both eyes open you cannot see your recticle...with the system you can...the one your looking at in Ashland that is $1400 has the Bindon system. You need to look at the Specs to see if that particular model has the concept.
